Perodua has filed a trademark application for "QV-E" name and logo, hinting at the name of its upcoming first EV. The logo features blue accents, suggesting electrification. The EV, potentially based on the prototype shown at Malaysia Autoshow 2025, is targeted to have a 400-410km range, 0-100km/h time of 6-7 seconds, and a 165km/h top speed. It will utilize a CATL LFP battery and a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme to address battery cost and maintenance concerns.
