The Road Transport Department (JPJ) investigation revealed the lorry company involved in the accident that killed nine Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnel in Teluk Intan, Perak, violated permit conditions by carrying unauthorized cargo. The lorry was permitted to transport coal but contained a different load. Senior Enforcement Director Muhammad Kifli Ma Hassan stated this breach led to further investigation.
