World champions Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik are projected to overtake Denmark's Kim Astrup-Anders Rasmussen for the world No. 2 spot, joining compatriots Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani at No. 1. Despite a first-round exit at the Indonesia Open, Aaron-Wooi Yik have been consistent this season, reaching three consecutive finals and winning two titles. Herry attributed their Indonesia Open loss to fatigue from four consecutive tournaments, not declining performance.
