The Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) denied obstructing Malaysian worker representatives from attending the 113th International Labour Conference (ILC) in Geneva. The Ministry clarified that the absence was due to the ongoing leadership transition within the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC), the largest trade union umbrella body in Malaysia. The MTUC's elections are postponed to August 10th.
