A Singapore police officer is under investigation after allegedly driving away from a traffic accident involving a cyclist. The incident occurred on Keppel Road involving a police car driven by a 30-year-old Special Operations Command officer. Preliminary findings suggest the officer was unaware of the collision and returned to the scene immediately after being informed. The 41-year-old cyclist was conscious when taken to the hospital. The officer is being investigated for driving without due consideration and causing hurt, and has been suspended from driving duties.
