A 53-year-old Taiwanese village chief has been charged with domestic violence and homicide after punching his wife in the head, leading to her death. The incident occurred on December 20th during an argument over preparing traditional Chinese desserts for the elderly. The wife suffered dizziness and vomiting after the blow, eventually falling into a coma and dying 42 days later. Authorities concluded the chief's actions were severe and he attempted to shift blame.
