663 Miri secondary school students obtained their B2 motorcycle licenses through the MyLesen B2 Programme, a subsidized initiative by JPJ. The program, costing RM250 instead of RM750, aims to improve student road safety by ensuring they have proper licenses. Sarawak Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin expressed concern over students riding without licenses and urged them to prioritize road safety. The program includes theory and practical training, and may be expanded to other areas and communities.
