A car and motorcycle parked at a Kampung Tupong house were partially destroyed by a fire early this morning. Firefighters from Petra Jaya station responded to the incident at 2:54 am. The fire, concentrated in the car's engine area, caused an estimated 50% damage to both vehicles and smoke stains on the house ceiling. Occupants escaped unharmed. The fire was under control by 3:33 am and the operation concluded at 4:05 am.
