The lorry driver involved in the accident that killed eight members of the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) on Jalan Sungai Lampam in Teluk Intan has also died, bringing the total death toll to nine. Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Sayani Saidon confirmed the driver's death. The lorry was carrying stones when the accident occurred.
