Malaysia's Ministry of Finance (MOF) will announce detailed plans for the targeted RON95 petrol subsidy by the end of September 2025. The system is currently under development and testing, integrating data from various government agencies. Eligible Malaysians will be able to purchase RON95 at RM1.99 per litre using MyKad verification, while others will pay the unsubsidized market price. The Central Database Hub (PADU) will be used to verify eligibility.
