The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) found policy and procedure violations in the transfer, modification, and licensing of a fishing vessel at the Pontian District Fisheries Department (DOF) in Johor. False documents were submitted, and approvals were granted improperly. The EAIC recommended disciplinary action against the officers involved for incompetence, dishonesty, irresponsibility, and negligence. A police report was also recommended due to suspected falsification of information and collusion among officers. A separate complaint against the Tanjung Sedili District DOF is also under investigation.
