Beachgoers in Panama City Beach, Florida witnessed a shark battling a stingray close to shore on July 31st. Video footage shows the shark's fin above water as it approached the stingray in the shallows of the Gulf of Mexico. After a brief struggle, both animals swam away. Biologists say such encounters between sharks and stingrays are not uncommon.
