Sibu archers won five gold, two silver, and two bronze medals at the 24th Sarawak Open Archery Championship. Melvin Tieh secured two golds in men's recurve individual and team events. Other gold medalists include Lydwina Tiong (Girl's U12), Mohd Izzudin Iskandar (Boy's U12), and Nurul Ain Nasuha Iskandar (Girl's U15). Four Sibu archers were selected to represent Sarawak in the upcoming Borneo Games. Sibu Archery Association (Pemasa Sibu) invites interested individuals to train at their SSC-sanctioned training center.
