Lawyers representing the family of deceased Form One student Zara Qairina Mahathir urged the public to avoid speculation and support Zara's grieving mother. The mother, Noraidah Lamat, handed her phone to police for forensic analysis in Cheras, Selangor. The phone contains vital audio recordings between Noraidah and Zara. The possibility of exhuming Zara's body for a post-mortem remains undecided. The lawyers clarified that no post-mortem was conducted initially. The Attorney-General's Chambers returned the preliminary report to the police for further investigation.
