Sabah will host the 62nd Malaysia Day celebration on September 16th at Padang Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu. Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Christina Liew, chairing the organizing committee, emphasized the historical significance of Sabah in Malaysia's formation. The theme "Malaysia Madani, Rakyat Disantuni" (Civilized Malaysia, People Cared For) aims to promote unity and harmony. Liew urged all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, focusing on logistics, security, protocol, and promotion.
