Malaysian electricity users can now switch to the Time-of-Use (ToU) billing scheme via the myTNB web portal. This new tariff structure offers lower rates outside peak hours (2 PM - 10 PM weekdays) but higher rates during peak periods. Users need to log in, click 'Switch To ToU,' verify their details, settle outstanding bills, and upload their MyKad. Activation takes up to five days with a smart meter, and up to two months without one. Alternatively, users can visit a Kedai Tenaga or email tnbtou@tnb.com.my. The mobile app option is coming soon.
