PLUS Malaysia will pilot an Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) based open toll payment system on the North-South Expressway starting October 2025. This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Works, aims to create a smoother and faster tolling experience. The pilot program will initially involve 13 toll plazas and 35 Touch 'n Go RFID lanes between Hutan Kampung and Sungai Dua. Users can register via the JustGO app and link their payment details for automatic toll deductions. The system supports multiple cashless payment options and offers features like e-invoice generation.
