Malaysian motorcycle racer Hakim Danish Ramli received a motivational boost ahead of the final two rounds of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. His Yamaha Y15ZR, which he uses for commuting, was refurbished by UMA Racing and Racing Boy (RCB). The 18-year-old, currently leading the championship, expressed gratitude for the surprise upgrade, calling it added motivation. The refurbishment, worth thousands of ringgit, included cosmetic and engine improvements. Hakim, who also competes in the FIM JuniorGP, bought the used bike in 2023 with his race winnings. He aims to finish the Rookies Cup season strong, holding a 13-point lead over his closest rival.
