The Taiping District Police Headquarters (IPD) disposed of contraband worth RM355,292, including 2.1 million smuggled cigarettes, bitcoin mining machines, and alcohol. The disposal covered 40 completed investigation papers from 2011 to 2025, encompassing smuggling, digital currency trading, gambling, and fireworks offenses. The cigarettes, seized between 2013 and 2022, were valued at RM266,788. 427 bitcoin mining machines, seized between 2021 and 2023, were worth RM106,750. The disposal also included confiscated alcohol and fireworks.
