Runners discarded energy gel packets and cups along the route, especially on the TTM Bridge. While the BDA cleaning team efficiently cleared the mess, the incident highlighted the need for responsible waste disposal. Four local runners, led by Felix Entri, took the initiative to 'plog' – jogging while picking up litter – along the 8km route, demonstrating environmental stewardship.
