Two village security and development committees (JKKK) from Song, Sarawak, visited the Malaysian Agriculture Research and Development Institute (Mardi) in Saratok to learn about modern farming techniques. The 52-member delegation aimed to encourage local farmers to adopt modern practices to increase income and boost the local economy. The visit included a briefing on Mardi's functions and a tour of a farm, showcasing agricultural product processing and packaging.
