Ten luxury car owners in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, had their vehicles seized by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) for failing to renew road tax and insurance. The seizures, including a Porsche Taycan owned by a businesswoman, occurred between January and early August. The JPJ director stated that 'forgetfulness' was a common excuse, but unacceptable, as some had been driving without valid documentation for one to two years. The department emphasized the serious safety risk posed by uninsured vehicles. From January to July 2025, JPJ Negeri Sembilan recorded over 10,000 expired road tax offenses and nearly 8,000 uninsured vehicle cases.
