Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi stated that BN is open to cooperation with parties that share their goals of national development and unity. While BN is currently working with Pakatan Harapan (PH) for the upcoming Sabah state election, Zahid emphasized the importance of selective partnerships, warning against potential disruptors. He highlighted the global trend of coalition governments and advocated for power-sharing between BN, PH, and like-minded parties to achieve unity and political consensus. He also urged UMNO divisions in Sabah to support each other for victory in the state polls.
