Two residential properties in Miri, Sarawak were raided for stealing electricity to power cryptocurrency mining operations. Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) estimated a monthly loss of RM17,000 in unbilled electricity. A total of 33 mining servers were seized, and the illegal connections posed significant fire and electrocution risks. SEB continues to combat power theft and urges the public to report suspicious activities.
