Tun Ahmadshah Abdullah, former Head of State of Sabah, passed away at the age of 78 on Tuesday night at KPJ Kota Kinabalu Hospital. The Sabah state government confirmed his passing and announced a one-day mourning period with flags flown at half-mast. Ahmadshah served as the ninth Head of State from 1995 to 2002.
