Malaysian men's doubles pair Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani began their 2025 Malaysia Masters campaign with a convincing first-round victory over French duo Eloi Adam and Leo Rossi. The world number two pair took just 31 minutes to win 21-16, 21-13, aiming to secure their first home title. While pleased with the win, they acknowledged the need to improve their game ahead of their next match against Taiwanese pair Chen Zhi Ray and Lin Yu Chieh. Other Malaysian pairs, Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun advanced, while Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi were eliminated.
