Two major infrastructure projects worth RM143.8 million are underway in Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia. A RM63.8 million water project will relocate the water intake to Sungai Nakamura and construct a new treatment plant in Lohan, addressing flood-related water disruptions. This project is expected to be completed by August 2024. An RM80 million road upgrade project, spanning six kilometers, will improve connectivity for Kampung Mohimboyon, Kampung Lipantai, and Kampung Pahu, facilitating agricultural transport and boosting farmers' income.
