A 28-year-old food delivery rider, Muhammad Taqueuddin Ibrahim Arjunan, died at the scene of a collision with a Perodua Kenari at Simpang Empat Parit Patah, Pontian, around 6:40 pm yesterday. He suffered severe head injuries. The 57-year-old Kenari driver sustained face and chest injuries and is receiving treatment at Pontian Hospital. Police believe the rider was traveling from Parit Selangor to Pontian town when the collision occurred. The car allegedly emerged suddenly from a junction. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
