Water supply disruptions affecting 100,000 accounts in Johor Bahru due to pump damage at the Sungai Johor Water Treatment Plant are 50% restored. Two of the nine damaged pumps have been repaired and are operational. The damage was caused by a leaking pipe drawing water from Sungai Skudai, flooding the pump house and causing serious damage to the pumps. Full restoration is expected to take time due to the extent of the damage.
