Nearly 1,000 residents of Kampung Sungai Relai, Gua Musang, Malaysia are living in fear following the sighting of a tiger roaming near their village. The tiger was reportedly seen crossing the main Gua Musang-Kuala Berang road and wandering through rubber plantations. Residents, already accustomed to encounters with wild elephants and panthers, are now increasingly concerned for their safety. One resident, Azrul Azhar, stated the tiger's presence has been unsettling rubber tappers and plantation workers for the past two days.

Following the arrest of a man suspected of throwing stones at vehicles in Batu Kawa, the Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) plans to install CCTV cameras at 12 locations. These locations include Emart Batu Kawa, MJC areas, Everwin Batu Kawa, Pasar Batu Kawa Lama roundabout, Batu Kawa Waterfront, and Batu Kawa 38 commercial centre. This initiative aims to enhance public safety and security. The 68-year-old suspect is under a four-day remand, facing investigation under Section 427 of the Penal Code after 10 reports were filed regarding the incidents.

This third repair attempt on the 30-year-old pipeline, supplying 20% of Kuching's treated water, addresses damage from a collapsed concrete slab. Areas including Matang Jaya, Petra Jaya, and Demak Laut may experience low water pressure or outages. Water tankers will be deployed, and consumers are advised to store water in advance.
