Zayn Rayyan: Pendakwaan perlu teliti hujahan tambahan pihak pembelaan
The verdict in the case against the parents of the late Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matin, charged with neglecting their child, has been postponed. The prosecution requested a delay to review additional arguments filed by the defense on the same day. The judge granted a one-hour postponement. The parents, Zaim Ikhwan Zahari and Ismanira Abdul Manaf, are accused of neglecting their six-year-old son, leading to possible physical injury. The alleged neglect occurred between December 5th and 6th, 2023. They face a maximum sentence of 20 years imprisonment, a RM50,000 fine, or both, if convicted.
