The new Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Sibu, Sarawak, is nearing completion and set to open on July 7th. Delayed for four years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the RM2 million project, initially budgeted at RM1.1 million, features intricate designs by skilled workers from India. The temple, located next to the original 1920 structure, can accommodate 400 devotees. The president expressed gratitude to the Sarawak government, Unifor, and public contributors for their support.
