Sixteen-year-old Jessica Magdalena Jaimus, a terminally ill renal failure patient, realized her lifelong dream of becoming an Unduk Ngadau. Crowned at the Palliative Care Association of Kota Kinabalu (PCAKK) by the 2025 Sabah-level Unduk Ngadau winner, Atitih Yati Robert, Jessica described the experience as one of her happiest. The event, organized by PCAKK, aimed to bring joy and dignity to patients under their care. Jessica, an avid reader from Kampung Butong, Tamparuli, also enjoyed a performance by Rebecca O’Connor.
