Malaysian singer Eda Ezrin (Wan Norshaheeda Azlin Wan Ismail) and her friend Nur Aida Mamat, both 33, were released after nine months detention in a Thai prison. They were released after giving statements at the Rantau Panjang police station. While Eda Ezrin and Nur Aida returned to their families in Kelantan, four other Malaysians, including their husbands, remain in Thailand pending completion of immigration documentation.
